Digital Designer & Developer
Hi, I'm Kim — I design and build thoughtful digital experiences from the ground up. Warm by nature, precise by practice.
About
I'm Kim Gerowe — a digital designer and developer based in Connecticut. I build things that look good and work well, with a background that spans front-end development, UX/UI design, digital illustration, game art, and branding.
Before going full creative, I spent years in IT and technical operations — which means I think about how things work under the hood just as much as how they look. That combination shapes everything I make.
When I'm not building interfaces, I'm making games, crocheting, designing stickers, or taking photos. Creativity doesn't have an off switch.
Selected Work
A full remake of the NVCC Digital Arts Technology department website — built from the ground up in collaboration with the department head to realize his vision, and coordinated with the outgoing developer to ensure a smooth transition. A real client, a real deadline, a real result.
Created interactive video games for game jams — from game design and programming to art and assets. Concept to playable in a weekend, every time.
Digital templates, artwork, stickers, and print-ready designs — created and sold independently. Handling everything from concept and design to production and branding.
A technical learning website built around one idea — technology doesn't have to be scary. TutorTail is a cat companion who guides users through complex tech concepts in an approachable, human way.
